Bed and Breakfast | Gärdsholmen is an island in the Syrsan bay. The island is quite small, only 60 acres, with a few fields, meadows and woods. The beach area is mainly composed of small cliffs, but there are also small sandy beaches.
Only 3 people work here all year round at a small fish smokery. In the summer, we rent out cottages for recreation and relaxation. There is a wide variety of fish available in the area for the most inveterate fisherman as well as families. Gärdsholmen was already being used for hunting and fishing 5000 years ago, as witnessed by the ceramic findings when the cottages were built. You can stay here, just like people have been doing for millennia, with the sea as your neighbour.
