Address: Idö, 593 93 Västervik

Idö is located in the outer archipelago, half an hour by boat from Västervik. The island, which is just over 1 km long and just under 1 km wide, offers a varied landscape. During the summer months there are regular boat trips out to the island and there is also a well-renowned restaurant open during the summer.

Idö is the perfect place for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature, culture and history. The east side is covered in a forest with rugged cliffs along the shoreline, while the stone walls on the western side meander across open fields down towards the sea. You are at one with the ocean all year round on Idö. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Idö Skärgårdskrog, the pilot lookout tower and the cliffs, and we offer package deals which will take you on a trip that you will remember for the rest of your life. During the summer, it is easy to get to Västervik via the archipelago’s ferry services. During the autumn, winter and spring, Idö Skärgårdsliv picks up smaller groups of passengers in their own boat and larger groups travel to the island on the archipelago boat (advanced booking required).
