The Bronze Age monuments, castles dungeon and castle with neo-Gothic chapel.

Casimirsborg is a unique area with an unbroken timeline from the Stone and Bronze Age through the Middle Ages and the empire to today. Here you can see the beautiful castle, in a stylish Tjust Empire, with its unique original flooring and wallpaper. Parts of a citadel (in stone) from the 1300's is built in the housing, containing among other things a dungeon. In front of the castle is Sjöpaviljongen, classified by the National Heritage Board to be of national interest.

During Sundays July (2, 16, 23 and 30th) and August (6th), guided tours are organized. The Bronze Age area takes about 60 mins (the walk is about 1 km long and can be quite rocky. Not too difficult though. The castle takes about 45 min.

There is also the possibility of own walking with a portable reading device as your guide.
