Restaurant Sjökantens bar, located on Hasselö, is called "The Thirsty Winter Swan" and it is open every Saturday during the fall, winter and spring. Every Saturday they offer a warming soup and homemade bread as well as hot and cold drinks.

Hasselö hostel is open year round and it is possible to combine the visit to the thirsty winter swan with accommodation and breakfast there. Shared double room (with sheets, cleaning and breakfast included) costs 495 SEK / person.
